Ocean Planet Logo

Ocean Planet is an unincorporated organisation committed to a sustainable future for Tasmania’s marine environment and all that relies on it — unique wildlife, our idyllic Tasmanian lifestyle and a secure fishing industry for generations to come. We are keen divers, fishers, surfers, scientists and more, and aim to grow a community of marine stewards in Tasmania. We meet once a month in Hobart and have a weekly e-bulletin.

Australian Marine Conservation Society

The Australian Marine Conservation Society is the voice for Australia’s coasts and oceans. As a national charity, we work with local communities to create marine national parks, protect our ocean wildlife and make our fisheries sustainable. We are an independent voice that has been defending Australia’s oceans for over forty years. Our conservation work is funded through the generous support of Australians who want to give something back to our precious sea.

The Wilderness Society

The Wilderness Society is a community-based environmental protection organisation. We work to safeguard our sources of clean water and air, to tackle devastating climate change, to create a safe future for life on Earth, and to give a better world to our children. The majority of our work is in Australia, with a strong focus on natural environments and the role they play in keeping our world safe.
